Our favorite loft is the 18.5, which fills that goldilocks zone between the driver and hybrid, with a dependable launch and spin. True to the case, the LTDx Max is in fact the easiest of the LTDx line to wield and produces long shots off the tee and fairway-without needing to launch the ball sky high into the air. Our take: There’s something reassuring about a wood that has draw bias-we feel like it’s easier to swing hard and hit bombs from the fairway.
